Rockers vs. Mods Rally

The first annual Capital City Rockers vs Mods Rally is coming up March 2 - 4 in Austin, Texas. This 3-day rally is sure to be a throwback to the 1950s European biker subculture that centered around British cafe racers and rock-n-roll music. So bring your motorcycles and scooters, whether old or new, European or otherwise...with rides through and around Austin, it's sure to be a good time. All proceeds benefit Austin Pets Alive.

Texas National Rally

The San Antonio BMW Riders Association is hosting the 2011 Texas National Rally in Llano this weekend, April 8-10. It will be held at Robinson Park on FM152, just two miles from the town square. Don't miss the chili on Friday night or the Llano VFD fish fry and BBQ on Saturday night. Lots going on in Llano this weekend.

Harvest Classic Rally

Want to enjoy great scenery, check out some motorcycles, and support a good cause? Then head on over to the Harvest Classic rally in Luckenbach on Friday and Saturday. There'll be plenty of vintage bikes to see, and the money raised goes to the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation.

On a recent trip to Texas, I used Texas Motorcycle Adventures, and from the very start, it was an easy and pleasant experience. Being a family run business, you get personal service and great advice on which motorcycle will suit you best. I was able to collect the motorcycle and leave my car in a secure place. I was supplied a helmet, and after I signed some forms, was away very quickly. The motorcycle was well maintained and clean, complete with luggage. New Braunfels is a centrally located city, with access to some of Texas' best roads around the Hill Country. Complimentary maps and great routes were provided. I have rented motorcycles in many places in the US, and no one has beaten the quality of service and value I received from Texas Motorcycle Adventures. I will use them again when I visit Texas.
